You were only playing with my heart
From the moment I saw you
I was waiting for love to start
And you were looking for something else to do.
How was I to know
That your love will fade
While mine would continue to grow
Into the house that was made?
You used me
For whatever you needed
And then abandoned me
When you had succeeded.
And now the scars
Will never fade
And as I watch the many passing cars
I wait for my love to fade.
But I cannot forget
The love that we shared
And I tend to relive it
When my inner self is bared.
I should forget
I should move on
But I can't deny it
My love for you shines on.
I can go crazy
With you in my head
But the crowd around me
Occupies me instead.
I think I can survive alone
With love that should fade
But this empty home
Was the home we once made.
So, goodbye, my love
Time for love to finally fade
And now I should think of
Some othe romance to be made.
